These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Leadr, a platform designed to help pet care businesses manage clients, pets, bookings, schedules, and related business information.

By creating an account or using Leadr, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.

2. Who we are

Leadr is operated by a UK-based sole trader trading under the name Leadr.

3. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use Leadr.
  • You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide is accurate and up to date.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

We are not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from unauthorised access to your account.

4. Description of the service

Leadr provides tools to help users manage aspects of their pet care business, including client information, pet records, bookings, and scheduling.

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for your specific business needs.

5. User data and content

Your data

  • You retain ownership of all data you enter into Leadr, including client, pet, booking, and business information.
  • By using the service, you grant us permission to store, process, and display this data solely for the purpose of providing the service.

Your responsibilities

  • You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to store and process any personal data you enter into Leadr.
  • You must not enter sensitive personal data (such as health, medical, or special category data).

Our handling of personal data is explained in our privacy policy, which forms part of these Terms.

We do not guarantee the availability or recovery of specific data. This includes data lost due to user error or account deletion. Users are responsible for maintaining their own backups where appropriate.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Leadr:

  • For any unlawful purpose
  • To upload malicious code or attempt to compromise the service
  • To scrape, reverse engineer, or copy the platform
  • To misuse client or pet data
  • In a way that could cause harm, distress, or risk to people or animals
  • To interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these rules.

7. Subscriptions, pricing, and payments

  • Leadr may offer free and paid subscription plans.
  • Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis.
  • Prices, features, and plan limits may change with reasonable notice.
  • Failure to pay may result in restricted access or suspension of your account.
  • Unless stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable.

Any third-party service providers operate under their own terms and conditions and may incur additional fees.

8. Cancellation and termination

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account or by contacting us.
  • Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.

By us

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

  • You breach these Terms
  • Payment is overdue
  • Your use of the service poses a legal, security, or operational risk

Upon termination, your access to the service will end and your data may be deleted in accordance with our data retention policy.

9. Data retention and deletion

  • Account data is retained while your account is active.
  • Inactive accounts may be retained for up to 12 months.
  • You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
  • We may retain anonymised or aggregated data for analytics and service improvement.

10. Availability and changes to the service

We are not liable for any loss resulting from changes to the service.

The service depends on third-party infrastructure and service providers. We are not responsible for outages, downtime, data loss, or service interruptions caused by third-party providers, force majeure events, or technical issues beyond our reasonable control.

We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, power outages, internet failures, or third-party service disruptions.

11. Disclaimers

Leadr provides organisational and administrative tools only.

  • We do not provide legal, financial, tax, or accounting advice.
  • We are not responsible for your business decisions or client relationships.
  • We are not responsible for disputes between you and your clients.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, including loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity
  • Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with the service is limited to the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim giving rise to liability.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, or liabilities arising from:

  • Your misuse of the service
  • Your breach of these Terms
  • The data you enter into the platform

14. Intellectual property

All intellectual property rights in Leadr, including software, branding, design, and content, belong to us.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service in accordance with these Terms for the duration of your account.

15. Third-party services

Leadr relies on third-party providers for but not limited to hosting, analytics, and email delivery.

We are not responsible for the availability or performance of third-party services, which are governed by their own terms.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.

Continued use of Leadr after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
